McGill University - Staircases
Moiré effects are creating using double layered wire mesh elements.
When visiting the Génome Building of the McGill University in Montreal the staircases attract attention. Two architectural wire mesh elements made from EGLA-TWIN 4313 are placed in the middle from top to bottom. The same specification of woven wire cloth has been used for the exterior façade of the building.
The double layered structure of the wire cloth elements creates interesting moiré effects in the staircase and cafeteria area.
